I have been in the film and video industry for over 25 years. During that time I’ve acquired a diverse background in the industry with experience in many aspects of production. I continue to work as a DP and operator on commercials and TV shows. I have operated on shows such as Chicago P.D., The Chi, The Exorcist and others. Brands I have shot for include Miller Brewing, Illinois Tourism, Nintendo, Disney, United Airlines and many more. From the beginning lighting has been a central focus of my career. I’ve worked as an LD & Gaffer on multi-camera studio projects, live events, commercials and corporate projects. When not on set I can be found photographing landscapes & wildlife or building something in the workshop.

In 2001 I opened Visions of Light, Inc. Today we have become a leading supplier of equipment and crews to productions in the midwest and across the globe. We supply everything from a single camera package and DP to handling the complete technical aspects of a production. We have handled everything from a six camera live event production at the united center for Game of thrones Live to a single camera commercial shoot for Illinois tourism and everything in between. Recently we have added a vision Research Phantom Veo 4K camera package and a Motorized Precision Mia high speed cinema robot to our inventory.

In 2021 I oppened Precision Cinema. A table top, product and visual engineering studio. Unitizing Visions of Lights Inventory, the Mia cinema robot, and custom engineered rigs we create one of a kind visuals for brands and creatives.
